Gordon was an amazing person with an heart of gold. I feel so lucky to have worked for Gordon. He worked so hard and cared so much about Blackburn Yarn Dyers and the people that worked there. So many happy memories of working for Gordon, bowling do’s, Christmas Parties. He always made sure everyone was looked after.

Gordon was tough but very fair. I remember knowing that he would be walking around the factory around 9am, but bever knew which door he would come through!

Gordon was a caring, kind, genuine gentleman, with morals, honesty and integrity. He’ll never be forgotten.
