I joined the Team at Blackburn Yarn Dyers in 1986. Gordon was the MD of the company then , He believed in working us hard but always had time to discuss his beloved sports to anyone with knowledge. Gordon was brilliant company in a social setting. The works functions and trips to Haydock park were always fabulous and showed Gordons love of life and for people.

On a non work related note. We will always be grateful for Gordon and Valerie for their company at our wedding.

 A good man, and Will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
